Caitlin has been employed by Ryan’s since January 2009.  Her excellent customer service skills and expanding knowledge of wine help make her a critical member of our team.

Caitlin worked at Wegmans in Canandaigua for nearly 5 years.  She was quickly promoted  to the Customer Service desk where she honed her customer service skills and expertise.  She then worked at the Canandaigua Veterinary Hospital as a Client Service Representative, further expanding her customer service skills.  “Helping clients make the best health care decision for their beloved pets has given me the ability to assess a person’s needs and means, and this currently enables me to help customers at Ryan’s find that perfect bottle of wine,” Caitlin explains.  

When she’s not running the register or assisting customers, Caitlin stocks various sections as needed, focusing on making beautiful displays.  She’s skilled at pairing wine with food, and offers great recommendations.  She’s fond of wine from the West Coast and Finger Lakes, so these are areas she feels more knowledgeable in.  She’s continuing to expand her knowledge, and she’s quite eager to learn from her co-workers.

Caitlin earned her Wine & Spirits Education Trust Level I certification in 2010.  She’s attended several industry tastings in Rochester, and has gone on many wine tours in the Finger Lakes.  Additionally, she’s attended a couple of our own classes here at Ryan’s.
