Robin began working at Ryan’s in November of 2004 for the busy Holiday season, but she’s warmed our hearts and decided to stick around.

Robin works part-time at Ryan’s, but she’s a full time employee of the New York State Transportation Administration, performing various clerical functions.  She spends considerable time interacting with the public, and brings her refined people skills with her to Ryan’s.  

Typically running the register, Robin is adept at multitasking, and can usually be found ensuring our coolers are full and properly rotated.  “I stock [the] cooler,” Robin says, “Someone’s gotta do it!”  Robin has seen the Finger Lakes rise as a wine making region, and has become quite the fan of local wines.  While leaning toward the sweeter side of the spectrum, Robin also indulges in unoaked Chardonnays and fruit-forward Pinot Noirs when the opportunity presents itself.

Robin earned her Wine & Spirits Education Trust Level I certification in 2010.  She’s attended several industry tastings in Rochester, and toured the Finger Lakes wineries many times.  She has also participated in several of Ryan’s free wine and spirits classes.
