Victorianbourg Pinot Gris, is a crisp, dry wine with fresh aromas of apple and citrus. The palate is dry and full of apple, pear, and lemon zest flavors. Well balanced and refreshing, the finish is crisp and dry.
Although Victorianbourg Pinot Gris, does have a touch of sweetness, the crisp fruit acids balance the sweetness, yielding a wine that goes well with cream sauces, shellfish, and dishes heavy with butter and garlic.
Victorianbourg is the culmination of a life dream to make fine wines, and to create a life as a wine grower. The husband and wife team of Victoria and Dan Hogue purchased a lot in the Niagara region of New York State and decided it was the best place to produce fine wines from the classic European wine grapes of Germany and Northern France.
